Travelling to Lech am Arlberg
Quick and easy ways to get here
Please be aware that you must have a toll sticker ("Vignette") to drive on Austrian motorways. These can be bought at locations near the border as well as from automobile clubs in Austria and all petrol stations.
Guests arriving via Zürs should drive as far as the Gasthof Post (on your right). When you reach the Christmas tree and the old wooden bridge, turn left over the new bridge and continue straight ahead (do not drive towards Zug). You will pass the Hotel Arlberg and Almhof Schneider before heading gently downhill. Turn left at the first crossroads. You will already be able to see our hotel, which is located on a small hill. Follow the road and keep right. You are welcome to drive straight into our underground garage – ring the bell at the top of the drive and we will open the door for you. The garage is suitable for vehicles with a maximum height of 2.40 metres. You will also find outdoor parking spaces next to the garage entrance.
The closest railway stations are in Langen am Arlberg (Vorarlberg) and St. Anton am Arlberg (Tyrol). To see the latest railway timetable please click here. There are public buses running from both railway stations to Lech (25 minutes).
The closest aiports are in Zurich, Innsbruck and Friedrichshafen. A shuttle service from these airports to our hotel can be booked with Taxi Lech and Arlberg Express
Important! Please be aware that the road between Lech and Warth am Arlberg is closed in winter. Cars should be equipped with winter tyres and have snowchains on board. For the latest road report please click here.
